The police cracked down on the \norganization in 2013, raiding the apartments of several alleged members \nat the crack of dawn. The courts handed out prison sentences of up to \nsix and a half years. Two years later, the organization folded.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe\n Revolutionary Front uploaded videos of many of its actions and received\n widespread international attention. In Sweden, RF members appeared in \nvideos of prominent hip-hop acts and were the subject of prime-time \ntelevision documentaries. The Swedish security service declared them a \nthreat to society. Within the left, RF members were controversial both \nfor their level of militancy and their disregard for the norms of the \nleftist scene.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis book tells the story of the organization from \nthe perspective of its members. It is based on interviews and written \nmemories, and illustrated by articles from the RF website, photographs, \nbanners, and posters. Pride in what RF has achieved is blended with \nself-critique. Internal tensions are not swept under the carpet.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003ci\u003eComrades, Not Friends\u003c\/i\u003e\n documents one of Europe’s most important antifascist, working-class \norganizations of the early twenty-first century.
