Alladi Memorial Lectures, volume 3, is a collection of essays brought out by The Alladi Memorial Trust, comprising fourteen annual lectures delivered between 2001 and 2025 – the Justice Umamaheswaram Memorial Lectures and lectures delivered on the occasion of the centenary of Justice Alladi Kuppuswami, founder of The Alladi Memorial Trust. The essays deal with topics ranging from human rights, self-determination, democracy and the Constitution, questions of dissent, constitutional morality, transformative potential of the Constitution, freedom of religion, the judiciary and its independence, linguistic rights, rights of linguistic and religious minorities, moments of constitutional history, secularism, and the right to information.
